      Managed APAC alternative payment method relationships whilst ensuring product is consistent with Adyen's technical platform to deliver to our merchant's expectations. Managed wallets, BNPL and banking partners. Markets: CN shopper, SG, HK, MY, VN, ID. - Launched 7 payment methods E2E and optimized others. Responsibilities include:-- Negotiating commercial and liability terms alongside legal team-- Working with regulatory compliance teams to ensure acquirer compliance for major payment methods-- Building technical and operational processes to manage merchant requirements, from onboarding onto partner, customer dispute management, and reconciliation-- Influencing and improving product API design alongside tech teams and developers-- Compiling product marketing materials and extending enablement to commercial teams. -- Grow Merchant adoption by identifying and streamlining points of friction (from onboarding & compliance restrictions to operational excellence) with collaboration from internal and external partner teams.- Built market expansion strategies and business plans. Weighing regulatory compliance requirements including cross border, KYC and currency offering considerations. Size market opportunities, identify merchant segments, and set product sales strategy. - Galvanized global stakeholders to produced global strategic guides and conduct workshops. Show less Led a cross functional team of rebels from SG to AMS to deliver a holistic payments service for a US$14 billion technology merchant with a multi-vertical online business in South East Asia, which was (then) an account with the highest margins and potential in APAC. We worked with multiple departments on the Merchant's side to consult and deliver solutions that best fits their business needs. - Shaped and provided consultation on the Merchant's new business development strategies.- Productized the Merchant's payment method offering to the wider Adyen merchant base.- Suggested and improved user product work flows and integrations by working with Merchant product, dev and commercial teams.- Recommended optimizations on the Merchant's internal processes and card payments cost through brainstorms and workshops with Merchant stakeholders or individual teams, both regional and local.- Decreased Merchant's business risk in card fraud transactions (3DS2 and Risk Engines).- Navigated card scheme / local regulatory / PCI compliance around the then evolving business models of Payment Facilitators, Marketplaces, and Stored Value Facilities (Wallets).Relationship manager fluctuated between 4-8 Merchant accounts in my tenure, inclusive of the above global key account.
