  Senior structural engineer working in a small design team on a few major projects within the Aker office, including: Reliance Industries Gas Refinery, India; Boddington Gold Mine in W.A. and Mayskoye Gold Mine in Siberia, Russia. • The Mayskoye development entailed development of a design methodology for construction of a gold processing plant to be built on permafrost and remain operational all year round. • Boddington Gold Mine in W.A. project was an expansion to the existing mine, including support for 14m diameter flotation tanks and elevated access platforms and slurry channels. The design involved liaising with the A-K Santiago Office in Chili. • Reliance Industries Gas Refinery, India, liaising with the A-K Mumbai office. The design was to Indian structural codes and included 500m long, 12mm high and 12m wide pipe racks built in steel and precast concrete. Show less

A gold and copper mine facility beside the near the existing open cut mine. Managing the structural component of the underground development for the project. The work included liaising with the operations personnel and the Newcrest project management to developing the design requirements for underground facilities.Workshops, crib rooms, fuel storage, escape stairways and along with equipment supports all to be installed up to 1km below ground level.
