      Jul 2014 - Apr 2016
      Assistant Professor

From July 2014 to April 2016, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry at The Institute of Science, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, India. During my Assistant Professorship, I taught theory and practicals to the M.Sc. Biochemistry I and II students. I used to cover theory and practicals (labs) of biochemistry, medical microbiology, immunology, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, bioprocess technology, bionanotechnology, analytical instrumentation, etc. I used to break down complex research concepts into simplified scientific language for my master students. I encourage students towards advanced global research while primarily focusing on the fundamentals of biochemistry. During my assistant professorship job at the Department of Biochemistry, I developed the capacity to teach interactive theory non-stop for up to 5 hours. I considered all the students' knowledge bases and ensured that every student understood all the concepts covered in the class. I used to offer extra time to students with slow grasping power and medical assistance. I used to motivate my students to listen to scholarly talks carefully. I used to share news related to global research impact and its effect on humanity with my students. I have always preferred global humanity-oriented talks by international investigators and shared them with my students to expand their horizons. I also graded their exams. During my Assistant Professorship job at the Department of Biochemistry, I supervised six final-year (M.Sc. Biochemistry II) thesis students. They completed their research work and submitted their thesis to the University of Mumbai.During the exam, my students perceived 60 to 80% on average in all my taught topics. In the actual University of Mumbai semester examination, their net percentage rose from 80% to 95%. I am the first professor in our department's history; all students showed a massive rise in the net percentage level. Show less

      Assistant Professor

From June 2016 to May 2017, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Vidyaprakash Classes in Mumbai, India. During my Assistant Professorship, I taught Biology I (Botany) and Biology II (Zoology (human and animal)) to year 11 and 12 students. In addition to teaching basic Botany and Zoology theory and practicals, I encouraged students to take competitive exams. I motivated them to pursue a career in international biomedical research, advanced medicine, and global scientific innovation-oriented goals. Show less

      Dec 2017 - Nov 2022

My PhD research focuses on kidney healthcare from home. I have also developed a prototype model that allows the connection of a functionalized sensor and selective measurement of creatinine levels from samples. This device transmits creatinine level data to the internet and can be used in the future by physicians to track the health records of their patients from a distance (Point-of-Care). In the future, with this system, a patient can measure their creatinine concentration by testing a single blood drop at home. Thus, my developed prototype model has a huge scope as a diagnostic tool in modern pathological research. My work's main essential parameters can be functionality, specificity, repeatability, reusability, accuracy, low-cost, low-power, long-distance, and portability. I have developed a Point-of-Care diagnostic device prototype system for the detection of creatinine from human serum samples. Show less

      Senior Research Assistant

After completing my Ph.D., I joined as a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Newcastle, Australia. During my first post-Ph.D. job, I used to guide and provide my reviews to our industry partner regarding the key necessities of the point-of-care device we were developing for the nutritional management of the Australian population using their skin color pigmentation. The opportunity focused on biomedical engineering and point-of-care sensing device developmental research.
