After successfully managing the greenfield construction project to scale a 50 gallon process to a 7,000 gallon batch vacuum distillation system production facility, I worked with the production team to optimize the system, assume quality products were made on time, and evaluate needs to improve the process at scale. Our production team was able to deliver 6.5 million lbs of formulated resin on spec and 99%+ on-time with a timeline that allowed very little room for error. While working at Materia Inc., my role was to scale-up of a specialized vacuum distillation system from 50 gallon system, to a 500 gallon, and then 7000 gallon batch system (projects managed exceeding $15 million total installed cost). We successfully delivered 6.5 million pounds of product on spec and nearly 100% on-time with an extremely aggressive timeline. Additionally, I regularly assisted the Production and Maintenance departments immediate equipment needs and calculations.
