Facilitated strategic planning sessions with school districts, including working with superintendents, board members and community representatives.Accomplishments:-Created and led Texas’ first for-fee statewide online resource-sharing project, Digital Knowledge Central, securing membership from over half of all school districts in Texas in the first year of operation; negotiated with national providers to offer custom pricing structures and product offerings to fit unique statewide delivery model.-Co-authored and managed several successful grant projects, including a multi-year technology integration grant involving 10 school districts.-Co-chaired Center’s Internal Communications Committee, responsible for development of Center objectives and strategies related to communications and professional growth in effort to secure ISO 9001 certification.-Served as active member on state Technology Task Force, a group of educational technology leaders from regional education service centers and the Texas Education Agency charged with driving the direction of existing and emerging technologies in education (e.g. statewide private videoconferencing network, Internet 2).-Led development of technology-related professional development content for educators, including a technology leadership institute for school principals and district administrators.
