  As a Language Arts Coordinator, my job includes instructional coaching, teacher training and data analysis. The other half of my position is on the Professional Learning team where we create district-wide professional development and curriculum materials. I provide Language Arts training and support in grades K-6. This includes planning and co-teaching with teachers, observing and modeling lessons, analyzing data, providing training in Language Arts methods and programs, and giving extra support to new teachers. I am based in two schools but occasionally provide district professional development. In our Title One school, I provide faculty training and classroom modeling of effective teaching strategies with a focus on Language Arts. I also manage Title One tutors, school-wide Language Arts data and reading programs/materials. Small group language arts instruction for Kindergarten, First and Fourth grade groups. 6th, 3rd, and 5th grades
