  I was part of an Accounts Payable team here where I had to analyse the ageing days and soaring payables. These had to be reported to my Finance Manager. Creditors reconcilliation was performed by reconcilling control account and individual Ledgers. Fixed cost creditors were identified as they hit the cash flow every month so proper payments had to be made for them on monthly basis. Ageing day sheet helped in identifying variable Cost vendors so as when their cheque had to be made as the signing of those cheques had to be kept in mind. Show less

  Yellow Bean Post is the sister concern of IAL Saatchi & Saatchi. I was promoted as an Assistant Finance Manager here. As I had been part of the Audit previously here I had to identify the weakness in the controls. Major weakness was that there were soaring receivables. As Debtors were not followed up by the Clien service team and no proper recovery team was there so proper Debtors control account had to be made. The main issue found were that no proper Sales Cycle was performed through which reconcilliation could be done. For that I formed the procedure that according to market practice proper POs from client and approvals were taken. With that were transforming to an ERP system Oddo it helped me in performing those sales cycles and Purchase Cycles. Proper Chart of Accounts were made.In the Purchase area proper POs were made after the Estimates shared by the vendors. These procedures helped in reconcilliation. The thinking was that whenever the income tax audit is performed we are able to reply them.Cash Cycle: Cash was the area which needed proper attention as our office is mostly opened for 24 hours and there are majority of time late sittings proper Cash Book register was maintained and every week the cash reconcilliation is performed.In a summary I am responsible to prepare financial statements and perform day to day procedure Show less
