  Rowley’s has three branches:• Rowley’s at Blackpool FC – Here I had an assistant manager and oversaw the day to day running of the restaurant and match days and was actively involved operationally (stock, rotas & recruitment).• Rowley’s at Cartmel Races – They have 8 race days a year where they cater for around 800 guests per day in their restaurants, marquee pop up restaurants and hospitality. I operationally oversaw the hiring in of equipment, linen, staff, setup days and I managed the Conservatory Restaurant on race days.• Rowley’s Offside – This is outside catering. I worked alongside the Events Manager and the General Manager. We catered for 100-1000 people at functions around Lancashire: Holker Garden Festival, the Wintergardens Empress Ballroom & Spanish Hall, the Tower Ballroom and St. Georges Hall in Liverpool. Liaising with clients and gaining new and repeat business. I have managed up to 50 team members, leaders & supervisors throughout the events.Rowley’s taught me how to take multitasking to the next level and I learned how to build strong relationships with stakeholders.   TRG concessions own the hospitality contracts for many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in UK airports. I managed The Olive Tree at Southampton Airport. With Growth year on year and numerous occasions of the business having a record week sales wise – the business is doing well. With a strong management team of 5 and a team of 24+ I was overall responsible for all team hiring, training, performance managing and disciplinary and dismissal meetings. I have good knowledge of employment law and excellent EHO and NSF compliance legislation.I have an in depth understanding of P&L’s and my profits were largely better than the previous year and smashed budget.Excellent knowledge of airport security and a good understanding of airside operations. I built strong relationships with the airport.I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the airport, but I felt it was time to begin looking for that next step or change of direction in my career to improve my skill set and grow my knowledge. Periodically overseeing the running of all four sites in Southampton has strengthened my cluster management experience. Show less

  Greene King pride themselves in being the biggest pub company in the UK. They have 2700 sites of which 1700 are managed. Hungry Horse have high service standards and measures are in place to ensure they are adhered to and met where possible. My pub is next to a theme park and daily we will receive an influx of people when the park closes. We will be full in the restaurant in the space of 15 minutes and a high turnover of tables is needed to make maximum profit. I have a team of 20+ staff and 5 managers. There is a Wacky Warehouse on site which has a team of 4 staff who under my guidance control the capacity and safety measures needed to remain safe and legal. My knowledge of HR has strengthened largely over the past 5 years of my career; I am confident in conducting meetings and I have a good understanding of the protocol around CIPD. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved so far, including the first 5 rating EHO in many many years and 5* NSF. An incredibly strong management team and so much talent in the team to become great future leaders. Show less
