      Currently we are in the Systemization phase of the plant. I am responsible for Maintenance department setup, personnel interviews, procedure development, PM development, training paths, maintaining operating systems as they are turned over from Construction to Systemization, Safety, streamlining and efficient work efforts of the department. I am also responsible for the development of the Spare Parts Database and the determination of needed spares, development and control of the Systemization database which controls and documents all Systemization work. Previous to the systemization phase I was responsible for Design, Fabrication, Construction and testing oversight at the General Atomics facility in San Diego CA where fabrication and testing of specific “First of a Kind” plant equipment was built, systemized and tested. I was responsible for problem solving for the First of a Kind equipment when changes to design test plans are needed and preparing of reports of testing for pass, fail or more testing needed and maintenance procedures for this equipment then applying lessons learned from previous sites and industry to ensure success. In addition I am responsible for the review of plant and system Drawings, P&ID’s, SDD’s (System Design Descriptions) , the writing of SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), PM’s, design modification activities, completing plant startup, maintaining plant equipment, safety of personnel performing field activities, development, implementation and promoting of safe work environments with positive Safety conscious attitudes, Safety analysis and presentation development, Budget estimates and I serve as the Cost Account Manager for the Maintenance department. I serve as a system expert on numerous plant systems for trouble shooting, maintenance activities, systemization and task for the optimization of plant equipment.
