  I was responsible for the recruitment, coordination, and development of teams for the Ready When the Time Comes emergency response program in southern New Mexico. I also focused on Native American tribal outreach in the same area, and I helped educate and prepare local communities to respond to emergencies. I also acted as a member of the Disaster Action Team, responding to emergencies on-site.
