    • Tramlines Festival

      Jul 2013 - Jul 2017
      Theming Co-ordinator

This role enabled me to design two seperate VIP areas, that has now become four for the inner city music festival. The role entrusted to me was to theme both areas, purchase materials and createthe artist (VIP) and paid (attendee) VIP areas, this year a DJ area and Devonshire Green VIP has been added to my job role. In order to do this it was my responsibility to manage a team of volunteers in a short time span. The overall aim was to achieve a strong, bright and visible aesthetic for both VIP areas to create a memorable and unique experience at Tramlines Festival.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=teG_u5oLH_g&feature=youtu.be Show less

    • Demon Wheelers Corporate Events

      May 2015 - Apr 2016
      Events Co-ordinator

My Job title is of a very diverse nature this is mainly because Demon Wheelers were originally a motorised company however, they now do themed evenings, corporate events, special events such as weddings and award ceremonies, and team building. I find myself based both within the office and in the event field regularly. Whilst in the office my work is that of an administrative nature, an example of what I do is; create Booking Forms, book anything for an event whether it be an act or venue, liaise with clients, conduct sales, create anything needed for an event and much more. When on events my role is to help set up and make sure it looks/works perfectly, help to run the event whether I am on an activity for the event or just over seeing it (making sure the clients are having fun). Once the event has come to an end, pack down has to be done quickly and efficiently to ensure we are out of the venue at the agreed time whilst also ensuring that no props or equipment are damaged. • Brocco on the Park

      Aug 2017 - Oct 2020
      Event Manager

The Event manager role for Brocco on the park required me to be multifaceted due to its nature. To do my job successfully I understood how the venue ran as a brand as well as a business. I was responsible for all semi-exclusive and exclusive bookings as well as the events calendar for the year.Client bookings required an event folder where organisation of times, details and working to their budget was the key to success. The event calendar worked differently. I created a proposal for the year based on trends and what worked well previously. I worked from a marketing matrix to ensure everything was done to sell tickets. For my most successful event I worked with the Head chef to get a new monthly innovative event off the ground called chef's table, a carte blanche menu for 12 guests at £70 per head (the first type of event in Sheffield). The event launched in January 2019 and tickets sold out up until May (pre-covid'19). The role developed my marketing skills as I have been trained to write copy for magazines, newsletters, and the website by an Oxford trained copy writer. My management skills also developed. It has taught me that communicating with the team can be make or break for an event. Show less
