      Volunteered full-time at Centro Médico Tierra Nueva and a Daycare for children in Ecuador for a month. At the Hospital, I shadowed Pediatric Physiatrists and took vitals for incoming patients. And at the daycare, I fed, played with, and helped teach the children.

As a Training and Resources Intern, I Created text banking templates, edited comprehensive state-wide toolkits for running successful social media/virtual campaigns, and coordinated training sessions for high school students interested in hosting a successful voter registration drive.

      Member of the DTL Map Corps, I have helped create the Citizens' Map, which is a composite, 17-district congressional map that attempts to represent what over 7,200 Pennsylvanians have collectively mapped in five Draw the Lines competitions. Now, looking to push the Citizens' map through the media, I have participated in a podcast and have helped write an OP-ED for a local paper.

      I completed the Stanford Anesthesia Summer Institute Program, where I attended lectures on anesthesiology and post-operative pain medicine; diversity and empathy in the medical field; emergency medicine in the era of COVID; and others. I also completed a capstone project, wherein my peers and I created a proposed solution and prototype for Stage IV Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and presented it to a panel of Stanford Doctors and Professors.

      I worked primarily as a translator between clients and employees at JFON-DV, translating affidavits, client messages, and calls. I sat in on meetings with refugees and asylum-seekers, shadowing the lawyers and helping with case outreach. I also worked with the social media manager and helped to plan the JFON-DV annual fundraiser. Some of my general tasks included optimizing the use of the online case database, LawLogix.

      Plan bi-weekly rehearsals, retreats, showcases, social events, and competitions; communicate with other UCSD A Cappella groups and Tritones Board The tritones are UCSD’s premier A Cappella group. Out of 80 auditionees, 8 new tritones were selected this year.
