      I was engaged as an expert on Irish environmental law by coordinators of the 'Courts and Conservation' project at the Department of Ecology of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. I tracked judicial decisions in Ireland which had regard to the EU ‘Nature Directives’ (Habitats Directive & Birds’ Directive) for inclusion in an EU-wide data pool, and produced a briefing paper on the Irish justice system for colleagues on the project.
