      System Analyst / Project Manager

       As a System Analyst I was responsible of generating Use Cases, flow diagrams and analyzing current problems for Vitro.  As Project Manager I had to gather the requirements or client needs, allocate resources, generate project estimations based on Function Points and present the project estimation to Vitro’s committee. Once the project was approved I had to do the follow up and activity tracking of the project.

       I worked in more than 14 projects with US and Canadian clients, including one year on site for Chamberlain as an Account Manager and Business analyst.  As Requirement Manager I gathered the requirements (features, use cases and/or stories), analyze and organize information, interviews with clients, project proposals, solution proposals, presented the solution proposals, generated Use Cases, features or Stories and other UML diagrams, technical specifications, define the analysis process and project documentation. I was responsible of translating our client needs into information our development team could use to build or update the client’s software. As Project Manager/Scrum Master my activities were resource allocation, negotiations with clients and resources, review and evaluate project achievements metrics and milestones, updating project plan, project estimations with the development and testing team, searched for new project opportunities and interview new candidates. I also helped defining, promoting and implementing best practices and process like Scrum. We used FORAD (Agile Feature Oriented) as a methodology and Scrum and CMMi level 4 to support it. Show less

       I created a healthy fast food restaurant aiming at the maquiladora market. I created the business plan and did the government paperwork for opening a business,  I managed the company, performing administrative tasks such as recruitment, personnel management, purchasing, marketing and ensuring our customer satisfaction was good. Sold the company obtaining a profit of 70% over the initial investment.
