      Worked collaboratively with Kindred Operating Divisions (i.e.: Hospital Division, Nursing Center Division, Homecare Division), Integrated Markets and MC department colleagues on various MC opportunities and initiatives designed to improve the performance of Enterprise-wide managed care penetration/ market share. Contracting initiatives include development of standardized contract templates, preferred language provisions, optimal reimbursement methodologies and pricing terms to maximize managed care net revenue, as well as direct contract negotiations with managed care payors and purchasers of healthcare services. Prior to entering into contract negotiations with a managed care organization, builds consensus with Market Executive Directors/CFO and Senior Directors, Managed Care on contract-specific goals, objectives, action plans and contract terms.• Developed National Enterprise wide MC Process through creation/ implementation of the Kindred Healthcare MC Process Policies and Procedures. Trained new MC Analytics Dpt. Sr. Director of Analytics to these P/P’s and performance metrics. • Worked with market CFOs to conduct financial performance analysis of managed care contracts and identify opportunities to improve net revenue.• Utilizing the new contract modeling software, worked with analytics team to model and analyze pricing proposals to/ from Managed Care organizations.• Analyzes contractual language for operational, administrative, financial, and compliance appropriateness, as well as negotiate contract language for signature in a manner consistent with the parameters established by Kindred Healthcare.
