  One of 107 scholars in the state of Washington to be competitively selected to participate in the WAS Summer Residency experience. Completed a series of eight lessons focused on the science of space, NASA history, and the future of space exploration in order to qualify for a residency placement. Residency activities included the design of a human mission to Mars, facility tours, expert briefings, and hands-on engineering challenges.

  EQA Component Testing Intern

  Summer internship with the Equipment Quality Analysis (EQA) team at Boeing. Conducted aircraft component failure analysis. Used technical forensics methods (x-ray, microscopy, mechanical/electrical testing, destructive physical analysis, chemical analysis) to identify root cause of failures. Collected data for connector bonding study - observing the effect of connector material and torque on resistance increase over time.

  Part of the Clean Energy Bridge to Research Program 2024 cohort. Worked at the Vashisth Research Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Washington. Worked with my mentor, Mahsa Shabani, on optimizing radio frequency heating processes for the production of NMC811 for cathodes of new-generation lithium-ion batteries.
