  At this online Seminar, with the support of UNIASSELVI, I talked about my experience as a mother and also my autistic son´s as far as schooling is concerned. The title of my talk was "Autismo e Escola: Mundo de Conhecimento ou Desconhecimento". I focussed on how schools can be real battlegrounds for those living with a difference and also how inclusion is still a far away concept in the real sense of the world. Autism is also a wake up call for schools to reframe their concepts when it comes to building knowledge or adquiring knowledge. Show less
