Not only maintains the operational run of the platform but also help researcher in understanding what we can do for their project and what data is useful for them. Help to promote NGS platform as well as other services with GIS to encourage both 'fee for service' requests and collaborations.Take part in annual budgeting, regular platform cost calculation and purchasing.   I am working in Integrated Genomics Platform (IGP) under the supervision of Dr Khor Chieh Chuen, my main role in the Platform now is as Admin Lead. Working with fellow colleagues in Integrated Genomics and Analytics Platform (iGAP) to provide help to Researchers that requires Genomics Services in Next Generation Sequencing, Genotyping and Analysis. Managing the queries, submissions, and delivery of output data. Also help with basic analysis on Illumina, PacBio and Nanopore data, mainly request and project based but also some production data QC.On wetlab portion, currently perform sequencing runs on Illumina MiSeq, NextSeq and MGI T7 Sequencers.
