  My internship with Mesirow was with their Currency Management division. There, I helped to update and develop new back-end infrastructure related to client reporting and internal data collection. Working in Visual Studio, I wrote a system to get currency position data from a third party through secure transfer and add that information to our own internal databases. I also wrote SQL procedures to export currency trade data for client reporting purposes and input that data into our own database.
