While at MRMC worked on the redesign of front end processes that included Express Admission, consolidation of all front end process such as out patient lab, PAT, financial screening and registration. Prepared hospital for upcoming Change in Ownership to Vibra and additional licensed beds. Re-organized and led facility to comply with title 22 regulations of the state of California including surgical services. Added first new line of business to Kindred Healthcare following bankruptcy, a 24 bed managed Pulmonary Unit for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway. Transition to a separately licensed Specialty Hospital 34 bed HIH in 2004. Considered one of the more successful hospitals for Kindred Healthcare receiving multiple awards.
