  ZCL, now a division of Shawcor, is North America’s leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of cost-effective fibreglass storage tank systems to the petroleum industry. ZCL offers underground and aboveground tank options that can be used for a variety of applications including storage of fuel / petroleum, potable water, wastewater and hazardous chemicals.As the Acting HR Business Partner for our Eastern Canadian Operations I was accountable for delivery of full employee life-cycle HR services for our non-union manufacturing facilities in Eastern Canada.Utilizing strong relationships I'd built with key operations personnel during my time with our payroll and benefits group, and my knowledge of ZCL business processes, I was able to seamlessly transition services with minimal disruption. I partnered with operations leadership through the annual performance management cycle, delivering effective employee development and total reward solutions. I also helped manage one of our facilities through a planned workforce reduction that preceded a divestiture from an under-performing business line. I also participated in a cross-functional group and assisted with transitioning our HRIS and Payroll services to a new vendor. Leveraging my extensive knowledge of HRIS and Payroll administration I helped ensure continuity of service, data integrity, and scalable and effective solutions to meet the needs of the business.
