  Key Responsibilities:• Support the plant General Manager and HSE Engineer in the implementation of the company’s health and safety policies.• Conduct regular inspections of assigned workstations and monitor adherence to safety and health policies, procedures and safe work practices.• Monitor and ensure availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety clothing and tools by employees across the factory.• Inspect all facilities, machinery and safety equipment ensuring proper working condition as well as identification and rectification of unsafe conditions and/or potential hazards.• Support operation and maintenance staff in achieving high levels of performance related to safety, health, housekeeping and hygiene. • Prepare and deliver individual/group presentations to create and improve awareness among employees on the importance of health, safety and environment compliance.• Serve as a first responder to all accidents/incidents at assigned workstations including provision of first aid to affected employees• Maintain all HSE related records and data related to accidents/incidents and provide inputs to the HSE Engineer for production of statutory and management reports.• Review and track current developments and legislative changes related to safety and health and contribute to achievement of consistent compliance.
