This data is used internally for budgeting and auditing activities and externally for bargaining agreement negotiation.Accountabilities:- Determines how business applications can be integrated into program operations by conducting business process reviews to identify and recommend changes within legislation, regulations and policy.- Translates business processes into work flow diagrams and other technical specifications and works with IM/IT Branch to develop systems specifications.- Troubleshoots application issues; identifies source of problems and determines possible work arounds; works with IMIT or vendor to design and implement fixes.- Writes/executes Standard Query Language (SQL) queries, using database utilities to extract data for analysis and reporting to stakeholders. - Consults regularly with technical stakeholders and user groups to review issues and discuss potential system changes and improvements. Actively participates in Stakeholder working groups providing insight and guidance on the business application.- Performs/Leads system testing, develops test scenarios and escalates system issues for resolution; coordinates test results and recommend sign off when enhancements are functioning according to stated requirements. - Develops and provides senior staff with statistical summaries, exceptions, and trend identification reports generated by the application.- Regularly engages with system stakeholders, providing deadline reminders, status reports and business application update communications. - Monitors accuracy of transactions made by users to determine if training or application amendments are required.
