      Project named “Awareness and acceptability of micronutrients and Fortified fertilizers” was aimed to determine the viability of introducing fortified grades of fertilizers in the districts of Ranga Reddy and Medak. -The Market Research conducted with 152 farmers as a target group spread across Shamerpet and Mulugu mandals aimed primarily to evaluate the awareness levels of farmers regarding micronutrients and the acceptance of fortified fertilizers amongst the farmers in these two districts. --An Analysis was also made to capture the kind of micronutrients the farmers would prefer to fortify with different grades of NPK.Fortified fertilizers are a unique concept introduced by Coromandel international in order to ease the fertilizer application schedule. Usually micro nutrients are applied separately on to the soil which requires additional time and huge cost of labour. Introduction of fortified grades of fertilizers will not only save time and labour cost but would also help in providing essential micronutrients to the soil in optimal amounts and would help in achieving better yield. -The Project helped us in identifying farmers perceptions about fortified fertilizers -A schedule was formulated which was administered to the farmers after which a thorough analysis was conducted using advanced Excel and other statistical tools like SPSS.- Based on the analysis suggestions and recommendations were given.
