      Program and partnership lead with 15 of the largest school districts across the U.S. Distributed $1 million worth of musical instruments to more than 200 schools. Developed new initiative to bring music access to rural communities.  Designed, planned, and hosted more than 100 media events with artists, elected officials, and local dignitaries. Built relationships with district leadership and elected officials to affect access to music education. Successfully led re-branding process for 10th anniversary, wrote first-ever annual report, collaborated with VH1 affiliate sales and marketing on co-branded, cross-channel PSAs, and managed execution of all print and digital marketing assets to support the brand.  Led cause marketing initiatives: 2003 Saks “Gifts That Give Back” campaign ($750K), 2003 American Express “Blue for Save The Music” orchestra (Grammy Awards), 2005 P&G BrandSAVER partnership (56 million households $250K).       Oversaw all internal communications, media relations, and marketing activities for the Healthy Schools Program. Oversight of $250K budget for public relations agency. Managed RFP process, hired agency, and directed activities.  Drafted talking points and handled press relations for President Clinton’s appearances at HSP conferences. Designed and delivered training modules on story development and message delivery for 60+ HSP field staff in 38 states to meet recruitment goals. Managed design and delivery of recruitment collateral and PSAs. Managed media activity to reach target audiences and accomplish goal of 30,000 HSP members by 2011. Show less Pioneered implementation of new nutrition guidelines for beverages sold in schools throughout the United States. Three-year goal to change beverage options in 123,000 schools nationwide resulted in 88% drop in calories shipped to schools from 2004 to 2009. Managed relationships with the ABA, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Cadbury Schweppes.  Authored in-depth implementation toolkit to facilitate beverage guideline adoption. Designed and delivered training at sites across the U.S. and online to assist school personnel in their purchasing decisions. Provided expert guidance for state departments of education and health interested in adopting the guidelines as their nutrition standard for beverages sold in schools.       Led community programs and partnerships to drive engagement around services and capabilities of MSK’s regional locations. Collaborated with physician and hospital leaders, ambulatory operations staff, and community organizations. Pivoted from in-person to online patient and community programming during the Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in 4x increase in program attendance and availability of asynchronous post-event viewing. Developed educational programs and resources related to cancer disparities and healthcare access; goal to educate and empower community members on cancer screening and early detection. Implemented multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness and utilization of 50+ community programs and activities per year. Grew online community subscribers from 100 to 12,000+ members in 5 years. Negotiated multiple sponsorships and created new partnerships with community-based organizations, local businesses, and national nonprofits; overall $300K budgetary responsibility. Led MSK’s community Covid-19 vaccination clinics in partnership with Nassau County HHS and NYC DOH; responsible for community engagement, clinic operations, and staff management. Conducted data-driven targeted outreach based on community health needs assessment data and supplemental research, reported community benefit activity as per state and federal requirements, and defined metrics for program tracking in Salesforce to evaluate effectiveness of programs.       Lead cross-functional project teams across Perlmutter Cancer Center Manhattan and Long Island sites toward the strategic goals of increased operational efficiency, greater quality and safety, and improved patient experience. Train 10 office practice and infusion teams on high reliability organization (HRO) framework, supporting their efforts toward creating a culture of safety. Participate in weekly huddles, review metrics for areas of opportunity, analyze data, and provide guidance on each team’s presentation to hospital leadership. Prepare and review volume and access data with lead physicians for GI cancers and hematological malignancies, working with analytics colleagues to develop additional reports as requested.  Conduct rounds with PCC leadership to speak with staff regarding their concerns and ideas for improvement. Manage next steps, moving projects forward and reporting on outcomes. Formed PCC’s first-ever Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC); created application, developed and implemented marketing plan, conducted outreach to PCC providers to generate awareness and solicit suggestions, interviewed and onboarded advisors, plan and conduct bi-monthly meetings with 12 PFAC members and PCC leadership.
