    • Wild Archeology

      May 2014 - Sept 2020
      TV Host

This is a Nationally broadcast TV show now with two seasons the I am the host for. I am considered the cultural specialist and responsible for connecting the science with the oral history of indigenous people while entertaining our audience. Wild Archaeology positions itself as a part of a very important paradigm shift that has occurred in both academia and western scientific culture as it pertains to Aboriginal studies. This shift recognizes the vital importance of consulting and partnering with archaeologists, anthropologists and Indigenous studies researchers of Aboriginal origin. The series consciously reflects this approach in the series through its commitment to engage in Aboriginal community outreach in each of the locales/settings and through the related topics that we will be focusing on. This is extremely important for the series because without the support and involvement of Canada’s Aboriginal peoples, we would not be granted access to vital information, locations and oral stories required to convey this exciting history.
