  Full time English language and conversational teaching in schools located in the city of Nasushiobara, Japan. Included distinction in TEFL course qualification, intensive training in Tokyo and regular meetings with the Board of Education in my area. Working with a team of 30+ ALT's, there is a strong emphasis on supporting each-other and working in harmony to provide a positive, effective and educational experience for the students involved.

  While in Japan I worked for Laurus International School of Science in Tokyo, as a full time teacher at the graduating level. This included being in control of a class while teaching a variety of subjects including English, Maths, Science and Art. Along with this I was involved with curriculum planning, regular meetings and class excursions. I gained a portfolio of skills and rose to every challenge with enthusiasm & healthy determination.

  Graphic Designer at G Studio

  A three month Graphic Design internship at G Studio in Guatemala City - a prominent, cutting edge and international creative studio based in Latin America. I was involved in a number of projects during my time there - including branding, 3D mapping, podcast curation and photography but primarily focused on identity design for a number of high-profile clients in the city. These projects included client meetings, numerous presentations and working to a tight deadline in a fast-paced graphic design environment. I adapt easily to a situation, and am confident in handling problems at a professional and consistent level.During the experience I lived with a Guatemalan family which enabled me to emerge myself in the culture, language and way of thinking. Together with a team of 5 designers we've worked with clients from Milan to Singapore on a variety of projects and deliverables. Studio Folder is an agency for visual research founded in 2011, based in Milan. Helping people visualise their ideas and concepts through a diverse range of work including editorial, art direction, exhibition design, brand identities, data visualisation, websites and digital publishing. Winning Gold in 2022 at the European Design Awards cemented their place in the design world and although a small studio they boast an international reach with renowned clients and cultural influence.
