      The director of development travels extensively, spearheading the Foundation's donor cultivation efforts with Pi Kappa Alpha alumni in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi. - Selected as the first regional director, opening the southeast regional office.- Manage a portfolio of 500 alumni and secure unrestricted and restricted financial gifts. - Develop and maintain relationships with major donors.- Actively practice "moves management" within portfolio by graduating potential donors from suspect status to identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.- Conducted over 200 individual meetings with potential and current donors.- Responsible for scheduling all aspects of business travel including hosting and presenting at fundraising events. - Selected to manage the Young Alumni Engagement Task Force; a six-month projects comprised of 10 volunteers to effectively address engagement of young alums.- Prepared budgets according to program requirements.
