  Deputy Director of Missouri's State Unit on Aging. Responsible for oversight, training and policy for Missouri's Medicaid Home and Community Based Services programs, including state plan personal care and three 1915(c) waivers, serving approximately 60,000 Missourians. Coordination of compliance with CMS. Policy guidance and training for over 150 program staff and 1,200 HCBS providers. Acted as liaison for Division and point of contact for Missouri elected officials regarding Division's programs and services. Assisted Missourians with navigating and resolving issues related to Medicaid HCBS, abuse, neglect and financial exploitation investigations, and Older Americans Act Programs, as well as various other issues related to the needs of seniors and disabled adults. Reviewed Fiscal Notes to ensure accuracy and provide input related to constituent needs. Acted in many roles within Division Director's office, mainly consisting of various special projects for the Deputy Director and Director: coordination of Silver Haired Legislature, legislatively mandated committees, promotion of programs and services, sunshine and record requests, organizational documents for human resources, etc.
