Shell Energy
Jan 2017 - Sept 2024Programmes included: separation of the the B2B entity from B2C and migration to Shell Group (People, Real Estate / Facilities, Contracts, Systems, Data). IT Transformation for Group assurance - programme recovery for a slipping timeline - adapted approach to ensure a robust stakeholder engagement strategy and transparent progress reporting, gave clarity on path to benefits, increased productivity and reduced contractor reliance. Implemented a product-led approach, to overlay customer experience, leading to supplier / contract optimisation and further cost savings.I later led People Programme delivery for the separation of Shell Group in readiness for the completion of the sale of the business (IT, Suppliers, Brand, People, Data, Real Estate / Facilities). Simplified the original plan into workstreams with Sprints and clear deliverables. People Programme readiness achieved ahead of other business areas. Following the sale of Shell Energy Retail in the UK, PL and DE to Octopus Energy Group, I joined a small group of colleagues recommended to form the Decommission Programme Team to close the business. Programme Delivery Lead across workstreams - People, Real Estate, Facilities, Tech, Brand, Finance, Suppliers and Data. Recovered supplier exit strategy for c400 suppliers across the business - Streamlined approach to improve speed and volume of issuing notice - more than doubled output with half the resource. Advocating interim culture, engagement and wellbeing for colleagues remaining post volume redundancies. Leading efficiencies on programme deliverables meant I was able to step away and join Octopus Energy 3 months sooner than planned. Show less Responsible for programmes covering People Ops service transformation and Product / Brand Connection.
