Show less Employed with Tornado Components Squadron, I quickly gained all of the relevant Air Force Qualifications to enable me to maintain and repair all of the equipment within the Flight Systems bay, Tornado Nose Radar bay and Laser Ranging Marked Target Seeking (LRMTS) bay. I was heavily involved with the Life Extension Plan carried out on power supply units for the flight control computers which was to component level. I completed a 'Defence Instructional Techniques' course to allow me to teach the LRMTS qualification required to enable others to work the system and became the LRMTS bay supervisor.Other duties within the Squadron included being a member of the entertainments committee where I organised numerous team building events, liaising with other squadrons, booking venues, organising transport and food and generally trying to build morale within the squadron.
