My role as operations manager saw me expand, co-ordinate and maintain the distribution network of newspaper delivery, taking it from 4,000 newspapers through letterboxes per month to over 60,000 per month. This was achieved using specialised distribution companies, with which I negotiated on cost and setting up my own distribution team of over 120 members. My other roles included direct sales of advertising space, layout and graphic design, invoicing and finances.
