      Able Services caters to many unions Nationally and it is my job to have a working knowledge and to understand the intent of 40 + union contracts as it applies to union benefits such as HW, Pension, Training & Legal, etc. Each CBA is interpreted into logic that can then be used to build coding to automate payments for the roughly 15,000 employees to identify who have qualified.I oversee the review and payment of each local to ensure accuracy and that each payment is made in a timely manner. After all payments are finished, I provide the allocations for money spent per job for the Finance department.Audits & large account reconciliations Show less -On a monthly basis I audit 5,000 + employees to see if they qualify for H&W and make payments on their behalf.-I work together with union reps and insurance clerks to ensure accurate payments and current coverage for eligible employees.-I answer phone calls from employees and work with them to resolve errors in their coverage-Every month I run reports to ensure newly eligible employees receive coverage and to monitor deductions from current employees.- I am constantly on the lookout for ways to implement smoother processes and clearer communication -Excel functions such as vlookups and pivot tables are vital!
