  Front-End managers are responsible for cashiers, self check out attendants, courtesy clerks, and fuel clerk attendants. Front-Ends must be very knowledgeable in all the job duties that they are responsible for overseeing. I am responsible for twenty employees at any given time, during my shift and responsible for over eighty employees altogether. While the front-ends are supervising associates, they must keep up with scheduled breaks for under age associates. Front-Ends must have time management skills when supervising their associates and ensuring they get proper breaks.Front-Ends must also help customers with any needs they may have. Front-Ends are responsible for cashing checks, money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets, and other various office cashing duties. The Front-End manager's job is to make sure the customer's experience is quick and pleasant. Front-Ends are also responsible for keeping an eye out for customers attempting to steal merchandise. We are required to take an annual class on loss prevention. Front-Ends are responsible for all the money, on hand, within the store. If anything is missing it is our responsible to find it. I was responsible for overseeing all financial operations on the front end including: cash, transfers, debits and credits, donations, coupons, deposits, and lottery sales. Office management responsibilities included all the money, coupons, sales reports, and compiling them into reports to send to the corporate office on a weekly basis. This position is very important as it sends all these reports to the corporate office. Microsoft Excel skills are a must in order to compile all these reports.
