  Placement student

  Spent two weeks full-time attending a veterinary practice (Vets4Pets), witnessing multiple types of small animal surgeries, including castration and orthopaedics. Also, faced and observed patients and their owners alongside the vet during consult times. Behind the consults helped maintain the practice clean and helped the nurses prepare the theatre for surgery and cleaned the surgical tools.

This was followed by a guided tour of the departamental building (Hardy building) in which I led the students and families through the building and explained the different areas and important information about the department.
