      Research into ballistic efficiency of ceramics, based on ceramics' material and structural properties. I contributed to the knowledge pool of TNO by conducting cheap, low speed ballistic impact experiments and laid a theoretical foundation on which future research may be conducted. Results were promising and led to new insight into the ballistic efficiency of armour, mainly composed of hard, brittle material.
