      I am a project manager for land surveying projects with an interest and emphasis in commercial ALTA surveys. My responsibilities include project proposals, scheduling, oversight, review, and delivery. Recently, I have become our team's second certified drone pilot, making it possible to fly our drones more effectively for aerial photography, topographic mapping and analysis, and other operations. I also work closely with the rest of the Geographic Information Systems team to support Weaver Consultants internal GIS needs and those for our clients.       Parkland College offers an associates degree and certificate in Land Surveying, both of which cover the educational requirements for a Land Surveyor in Illinois. As the Program Director I'm responsible for teaching the courses, program administration, community outreach, and marketing. We offer the Weekend Land Surveying Program where students can work through the courses on their own time and then come to campus once a month for the hands-on techniques and discussion.
