However, after diving deeper into this educational program I realized that while I will always admire and enjoy working with midwives, my true calling lies in being a labor and delivery bedside nurse. It is here walking alongside a woman every step of her admission and her labor where I feel called to care for others with my nursing skills which is why I withdrew from the program and am returning to bedside labor and delivery nursing.
