      The Restart Scheme is part of the government’s ‘Plan for Jobs’ to help people and businesses recover from the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The programme gives Universal Credit claimants intensive and tailored support to find substantiable work. The programme is delivered in partnership with Maximus UK and financed by the DWP. Responsibilities:- Line management of 7 Employment Support Officers and team leadership on multiple projects. Provide clear direction and information to team members to enable them to maximise incomes, outputs and outcomes in the Restart Scheme- To ensure team members are supported to provide a responsive and effective Information, Advice and Guidance to support people into work.- To undertake and equip team members to deliver on-to-one and group employability sessions and job search support (includes support updating CV, completing applications, preparing customers for interview)- Responsible for caseload reviews, management of customer file checks, and reviewing customer progress against agreed action plans, realistic job goals and ensuring manual and computerised records are maintained in line with programme and audit requirements- To carry out regular 121 supervisory sessions, development and review of work plans and targets. To idenftify and manage areas of underperformance supportively but rigorously, and ensyre consistently high performance, taking mitigating actions to address underperformance as required- To develop and maintain referral networks and obtaining up-to-date information on a wide range of services offered by specilist partnership organisations to support the removal of barriers to employment.
