  I am the 2022-2023 President of the College of Engineering Student Ambassadors. We give tours of the engineering facilities to prospective students and donors interested in learning more about Engineering at USF.

  Undergraduate research assistant

  I work in Dr. George Spirou's lab using IMOD to trace and analyze astrocytes under the supervision of a graduate student. I have had the opportunity to trace astrocytes in the Medial Nucleus of the Trapezoidal Body in P2, P4, P6, and P9 model files, as well as doing an experimental run with mitochondria auto-segmentation to test the accuracy, speed, and overall quality with a software doing the tracing or an undergraduate student researcher manually doing the tracing.

  President of the college of engineering’s ambassadors program

  I am the 2022-2023 President of the College of Engineering Ambassadors. We are a group of engineering students at the University of South Florida that give tours to prospective high school students and their families who wish to learn more about the College of Engineering and its facilities. This Fall 2022 Semester we underwent a major recruitment process, then conducted a General Body Meeting and hosted tour trainings to equip these newly recruited ambassadors with the skills and knowledge they need to give tours. As president, I have been able to elect my Executive Board in roles such as Vice President, Scheduling Director, Special Events Coordinator, Secretary, Tour Lead, and a new position we just established as Social Media Manager. I have been learning so much about trust in my team and delegating our responsibilities amongst us, as well as employing communication skills with keeping the E-board up to date, making announcements to the rest of the student organization, and maintaining correspondence with our faculty advisor. I have had to implore my hyper sense of organization in order to stay up to date with everything this role entails. I am so excited to lead the Engineering Ambassadors through the 2022-2023 academic year. Show less
