      Hr specialist

The HR department at the Sheraton thrived in making sure that all communication, programs, training, and activities went hand-in-hand with Sheraton’s culture and core behaviors. Responsibilities included maintaining HRIS, managing new hire on boarding process, and handling benefit issues for approximately 700 associates (including benefit invoice audits, open enrollment, yearly health fairs, new hire enrollment, and all inquires related to 401k, insurances, FSA, & paid time off). Other tasks included interviewing, organizing recognition events/activities, associate referral program, weekly and monthly audits, organizing fundraising and community events, associate relations and communication. My experience at Sheraton taught me the true meaning of Human Resources - to treat each and every employee like a guest (customer) and make sure their experience is a positive one (even when the situation may be difficult).
