  I did my internship for the master Behavioral Change at the Belastingdienst (government tax office). During these four months I've researched on how to stimulate tax payers to file their taxes on time.

  The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) of the Dutch Tax Administration investigates whether interventions that have been proven effective in scientific lab settings also have an effect in the field. We did this by using randomized controlled trials, in which we measured effects by looking at ‘real behaviour’ (filing/paying taxes in time).   Duwtje is dedicated to the application of behavioural sciences. We give advise to organizations, brands and the government about smart interventions that are simple, highly cost-effective, and yield surprising results. Duwtje is a direct translation of the word #nudge in Dutch. I'm the founder of Duwtje and together with our team we analyse behaviour, create interventions, research the effect of our interventions and give lectures about behavioural change.
