Show less A unique opportunity to pioneer the program management initiative in Consumer Technology at UL. I worked with the Regional Operations Manager and one other Project Manager to kickstart the new program. We researched and developed a process using strategic project management guidelines.We implemented a pilot program to run the program management through to identify successes, gaps and opportunities for program development. Within running the pilot I managed a $250K+ project with a key customer introducing a new and innovative product. The project incorporated multiple UL standards (including new and innovative), key industry experts, and multiple timezones including international offices.I conducted weekly teams meetings followed with report snapshots of weekly milestones, risks, timelines and successes. My project was managed across Powerpoint, Excel and Microsoft Projects allowing for further self-development in these platforms. Leveraging the Gantt chart and critical path through Projects as well as sample and documentation tracking in Excel allowed for a transparent and organized project management service. My weekly reports in Powerpoint provided a thorough and summarized review for the internal and external stakeholders. I managed the stakeholders in weekly calls keeping the team on track with an agenda and a focus on productivity.After my time in Project Management, I was promoted to an Operations Leader within the same group at UL. I recognized the importance of customer retention while maintaining a balance of new customer development. I understood how to research and build a portfolio for my customer base, in turn providing impactful meetings with market strategy and industry knowledge. Time management and logistics were essential as I coordinated multi-meeting days and weeks, traveling up to 40-50% of the month in multiple states and customer facilities. Customers enjoyed my authentic sales-style as well as my ability to navigate internal resources for complex problem solving. Throughout my sales career I took part in foundational and creative sales training including: FranklinCovey, Miller Heiman (Conceptual Selling), Pinnacle Performance and JM Perry. Generated new accounts, quotes and contracts within Oracle. Managed communication between engineers and clients during the quoting process, and delegated projects accordingly.
