      I founded, structured, and operated this multidisciplinary training clinic which delivered 27 clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults with moderate to severe emotional, behavioral, learning, cognitive impairment, and sensory compromise. I provided assessments and treatment through a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, special education teachers, speech pathologists, audiologists, and other para-professionals and support staff. This position was one of the most challenging, and therefore rewarding opportunities of my career.◤ Program Administration- Established day-to-day operations, financial controls, facility management, and billing for private payments and insurance/Medicare claims.- Chaired committees on protocols and procedures to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.- Negotiated MOUs with local school districts and government agencies.◤ Select Accomplishments- Generated nearly $1MM for endowment through fundraising events, and federal/state grant and foundation proposal writing.- Designed a training curriculum for doctoral students, 12 students per cycle.- Grew patient population by 400% in just 3 years. This report was used to create and fund 3 outreach projects and 1 staff position. This book is based on my experience working with individuals struggling with poor decision-making skills and offering tools based on experience, research, and examples of adaptive choice making. The work is supported by a generous grant from the Votaw Foundation.I have been involved in this grant funded project from concept to award. Companion in Service and Spirituality provides vetted service sites for retirees seeking personal empowerment opportunities. The organization was founded to address a gap in the community, and has grown to over 1k+ members in 3 cities. It serves a critical purpose in promoting the comprehensive wellness of individuals ready to be engaged and connected to like-minded members within their community. Show less

      Manager of a program for individuals with severe mental illness and/or substance abuse issues diverting them from incarceration to community based treatment programs. Interface with a team of county agencies and private treatment centers to align individual restoration goals with public safety. Have worked at developing innovative services to address the oft-time complicated service needs for individuals who have co-occurring substance use dependence and severe mental illness. In the first 3 months identified a service gap and submitted a $4mm SAMHSA grant to provide employment possibilities for this population. Show less
