  Skills: Project Management • Supply Chain Management • Project Coordination • Project ImplementationKaushik Mahanta is currently working as Assistant Executive Officer (Project/Site Engineer) in BPCL LPG Rasayani Plant - Green Field Project under the guidance of Project Leader Mr. Niraj Kumar Singh and Site Engineers Ashish Kumar Upadhyay and Rakesh Sihag.On 19/04/2024, we have achieved milestone of Gas Charging of Rasayani LPG plant in august presence of Mr. S Manivannan (Head E&P-West), Mr. Sudipto Mukherjee (Head LPG-West) & Mr. Nagarajan V (State Head LPG-Maharashtra & Goa) along with other stake holders of E&P and LPG BU. This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and collaboration of everyone involved.LPG plant at Rasayani consist of 3x600 MT MSVs with pipeline receipt facility, 2x24 station carousals & 2 Bay TLD gantry. We constructed state of art sheds at Rasayani using PEB structure, first of its kind in LPG plants at BPCL, which resulted in cost saving of more than 2 crores. Surplus material utilization of approx. 8 crore was carried out for the plant construction. Throughout the project journey, we have overcome challenges, embraced innovation, and maintain unwavering focus on our objectives. Right from beginning, we managed the heavy local protest at site, pushed our limits to tackle the unprecedented price hike of construction material due to Russia-Ukraine war & sailed the project through heavy monsoons of Mumbai.Civil works effectively started in Oct,2022 and PCSA was completed in Dec,2023. After receipt of various statutory approvals like OISD, DISH, CTO & finally PESO on 17th April,2024, gas charging of MSVs carried out on 19th April,2024. Show less
