      Responsible for Designing, implementing and managing a new R&D function in APAC, both physical and cloud (Azure) based, for evaluating new vendor solutions and providing multiple segregated environments for tailored in-house developments working with products not yet on-boarded to UBS. Working on collaborations with UBS teams to assist in successful project completions.Established the new R&D function in Singapore achieving strictly confidential data hosting approval, a first outside of Switzerland, withing 6 months. Demonstrated multidomain technology proficiency creating both cloud and on premises secure segregated environments as well as associated processes around user self-service, environment management and governance. Facilitated and collaborated with both external vendors, in-house business and IT teams in utilising the R&D offerings whilst offering workable solutions where capabilities were not available due to organisational controls.Collaborated on a new Cyber Security Forensics lab, demoing solutions for user management, controlled and audited access to the environments facilities and the internet whilst also providing coding for secure segregated data transfer and curated one touch VM deployment. Removed the requirement for a major security risk (SAS tokens). 80% of recommendations were on-boarded.Provisioned and managed a critical big data project in Azure saving US$500,000 in projected new equipment costs within 1 month.Built up a user base with business and IT stakeholders by championing the R&D facilities globally and collaborating with key teams resulting in 10 projects onboarded within the first year of operation.Closed a major risk item by integrating a legacy global solution to new UBS technology standards. Utilised my coding experience to apply required Perl and shell scripting changes required.
