Pressure evaluation using Predict (DrillWorks 7.0) – at the end of each well, combined the mudlogging provided data (such are: Gas trend – Connection – Swabbed gas, C2:C3 ratio, Mud weight, Shale density, Temperature, Gaining at the trip-tank, Cuttings-Cavings etc.) and other drilling related phenomena (such is the wellbore ballooning; drag) with Predict provided calculations evaluated the formation pore-fracture pressures and overburden gradient. For the Predict the Corrected Drilling Exponent (DXC), Sonic and Resistivity logs were used.Working in integrated units provided an insight to AutoTrak, AziTrak and TesTrak (MWD and LWD) tools.Mud-, Gas-, Drilling-and Pressure logs, drilling optimization, drilling monitorization, morning meetings, oil show descriptions, end of well reports. In June 2017 successfully co-founded the LiFE (Lithium for Energy) project at MOL Hungary. Oilfield brines – as potential microelement resource: once the oil being removed, the reservoir fluids are pumped back into the host rock to maintain the pressure and keep up the production. These fluids can be considered de-oiled brines, containing dissolved macro- and micro-elements, which could potentially be extracted, whereby increasing the efficiency and profit generation. The above-mentioned facts lead to naissance of the so called “LiFE (Lithium For Energy)” MOL project (2017-ongoing), with goals to identify (Hungarian) Li anomalies, and to assess the feasibility of lithium production in terms of available lithium resource and feasible lithium extraction technologies. As a project manager of reservoir waters related lithium mining, my role included the preparation of a demo project as well as coordination of lithium resource exploration activities. Advising on drilling hazards and drilling bit optimization.• Actively contributing to writing and planning of well programs – based on offset wells and different data sets.• Ensuring that the mud, fluid samples, cuttings, SWS, cores, sampling done as per well-plan and properly labelled and packed. Describing cores, core chips and core end pieces (HC indicators and lithology).• Assisting the operations petrophysicist in selection of SWC sample depths (e.g. pay and waste zones, sealing mudstones-claystones). Supervising of OH wireline loggings and other wireline operations for deep PVT, fluid, gas sampling. Assisting at reservoir characterisation and supervising perforation jobs.• Providing daily geological and end of well reports. Founding member in the Company New STAR (Seismic Towards Advanced Reservoir production and management) Project Working group (reviewing and establishing better fracking workflows, searching for exploration projects, reviewing reservoir and production databases). Involved in mudlogging and coring tender writing connected to the Omani and Kazahstani drilling program (2016 & 2017). Compiling well plans with exploration geologist colleagues: providing geological inputs (pore pressure prediction, reservoir modelling, reservoir characterization, mudlogging and coring etc.) for the Statements of Requirements & Well engineering planning (to Well delivery process). Critically reviewing well plans. Show less Beside of the wellsite geologist position I was selected to run a non-operated concession of MOL, the Ngosso project, our solely interest in Cameroon. The joint venture was operated by Addax Petroleum Ltd. (a Sinopec Company) from Geneva, Switzerland. As a project manager of MOL, I was responsible to ensure that the project is under control, is completed on time and its budget changes are well overthought, so that the project's objectives are met. My typical responsibilities were:•representing MOL's interests (regarding the project conception, and on site at different TCM/OCM meetings in Geneva and Douala, Cameroon)•collating project objectives•providing advice on the management of the project•coordinating various professionals working on a project (cross-checking of financing, geological, and geophysical interpretations)•carrying out risk assessments•making sure that all the targets of the project are met•making sure the quality, HSE standards are met•monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained (especially the mudlogging, GCT, wellsite geology etc.)•overseeing the accounting, cost and billing•organizing weekly and daily phone calls to ensure the control of the project•writing summaries, reports (post-evaluation report, post-mortem analysis) on the project for the senior management •monitoring and approving all budgeted project expenditures•together with PMO and Controlling department monitoring cash flow projections and reporting of actual cash-flow and variance to the senior management on a regular basis (biweekly)Possessed and obtained key skills in this project •organisational skills•management and leadership skills•analytical skills•developed interpersonal skills•numeracy skills•commercial awareness•communication skills•team-work skills•diplomacy Show less
