  The Guinea Current Large Marine Ecosystem [GCLME] Project is a Regional Project conceived to address the transboundary environmental problems affecting the Guinea Current Region.As a GIS Analyst at GCLME, University of Lagos:I acquired, analysed and interpreted several geographic data presented in form of maps, graphs and charts. I created several maps using ArcGIS 10.1, which include a land use/land cover map of Lagos state, an updated map of the university of Lagos, etc. I collaborated with departmental coordinator to test the accuracy and reliability of ENVI 5.0 as well as carry out some Environmental Impact assessments.   As a Geography Teacher: I increased the active participation of students in geography class by implementing creative practices into the curriculum.I improved student engagement in first aid and health matters with an average of 20 students becoming members of the Red Cross Society.I promoted the presentation skills of my students by assigning class projects and demonstrations.I mentored 5+ students in their final exams which resulted in improved grades.

During my time at Kobo360:I managed an operations team of 10+ employees responsible for SMEs while increasing efficiency in the department by 10%.I created an innovative database of clients with base CRM software, leading to a follow up that resulted in a 30% comeback of clients.I negotiated a cost-saving plan with merchants that cut office expenses by 20%.I improved client participation using survey monkey which resulted in a boost of clientele feedback by over 40%.I established a personalized approach to our clients' logistics experience resulting in several return customers over the course of 6 months.   CcHUB is an innovation centre dedicated to accelerating the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity.Details of my job include:I gathered, analysed and generated insights from data to make strategic social and business decisions.I worked with NERI to facilitate a Capacity Building Workshop For NESIF On Social Innovation aimed at empowering young people from the North East to co-create innovative solutions to clearly defined social problems. I managed the #NotAnotherNigerian hackathon with aimed to connect more young Nigerians to the realities in the North East as well as get them involved to address the issues of violent extremism in the North East of Nigeria.I managed the Union Bank Campus Innovation Challenge to unearth and support students engaged in entrepreneurial activities across different tertiary institutions in Nigeria. I managed the Clean Energy Innovation Challenge aimed at unearthing and supporting renewable energy innovators in Nigeria. Shortlisted startups pitched their innovative ideas. I drafted CcHUB’s Innovation Consulting strategic documents namely: the Innovation Consulting Methodology, and Standard Operating Procedures for organising Open Innovation projects. I have also carried out several market research for my unit and other units within my organisation.I managed the Datahack4FI Innovation Competition aimed at promoting the use of data and data analytics to solve challenges experienced by individuals or communities. The competition encourages opportunities for data enthusiasts and emerging tech companies to partner in developing solutions that address local financial and economic inclusion-related challenges.In addition, I support the VOICE Linking and Learning programme by leveraging innovative tools and approaches to help strengthen the influencing capacity of civil society organisations and representatives of the most marginalised and discriminated people.
