      Developed a predictive model for Alzheimer’s disease using cross validation partial linear and cross validation lasso linear regression.Led the analysis of how sleep pattens affect Alzheimer’s disease using time-to-event analysis, mixed models, decision trees.Constructed an image analysis workflow to batch quantify fluid diffusion in the brain. This process was originally done manually over weeks, and now can be completed in less than an hour with better accuracy and less human bias.Gave lectures in applied statistics and machine learning models to biomedical researchers with a variety of backgrounds and supervised the data and image analyses for the entire research group.Simultaneously managed 5+ projects among multiple collaborations, leading to 3 peer-reviewed publications and 5 manuscripts in preparation over the past 4 years.Supervised 3 undergraduate research assistants and their projects. Helped them achieve authorships in publications, win the Mary Gates Research Scholarship, and become invited speakers at the UW Undergraduate Research Symposium. Show less
