Appointed to consolidate the business operations and lead the INM management team through the acquisition process by major European Publisher Mediahuis. Process successfully completed in August 2019.• Responsible for all Publishing and Printing activities of Independent News & Media Plc. Budgeted EBIT achieved in both 2018 and 2019.• Completed 3 year Strategic Plan ‘INM 2020’, approved by INM board November 2019• Commenced INM2020 transformation to a modern, digitally driven news service, generating new ‘subscription’ revenues from Editorial content and data driven customer knowledge.• Delivered Commercial Revenue budget €169m through Advertising, Circulation and New Ventures• Successfully restructured all island print operations to produce annual efficiencies of €6.5m. Project included integration of 3 major print facilities, engagement programme with Political, Union and Staff representatives and major infrastructure upgrade.
