  OHES Environmental Limited (OHES) is a firm of Consultants specialising in the impact assessment and remediation of land, and watercourses, following a loss of oil or hazardous substances. Incidents can range from servicing the domestic fuel market through to large losses at a utilities company.In 2016, OHES was a wholly owned subsidiary of Arthur J Gallagher (AJG). OHES had joined AJG as part of the acquisition of OAMPs and, being outside of AJG’s core insurance operations, a decision was made to divest. As Finance Director, my role was to establish a Finance team in our Wokingham head office and to prepare the business for sale with specific focus on improving business controls and reducing the working capital cycle whilst at the same time populating the data room, creating the Information Memorandum and meeting prospective purchasers. This was successfully achieved and OHES was acquired by Adler and Allan Limited in October 2017. Adler and Allan are backed by LDC, the equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group. Show less
